gustar= to like
- there are only 2 forms for gustar:
- use gusta if the next word is singular
i. me gusta el libro. (I like the book)
- use gustan if the next word is plural
i. le gustan los libros (he likes the books)
- followed by a another verb
- use gusta if another verb follows (do not use gustan)
- do not change the second verb (leave the ar/er/ir ending on the verb):
i. I like to cook= A mí, me gusta cocinar.
ii. We like to eat tacos= A nosotros nos gusta comer tacos.
